Such a quality bacon, truly impressive. Broadbent is greatly appreciated by me and was rewarding to share with others.

A taste of history 10/22/2020
This is what bacon used to be, a staple and a flavoring. I can't get anything but wimpy supermarket bacon where I live, so I've tried many a mail-order bacon, only the old-timey hickory-smoked stuff, and Broadbent's is where I will exclusively order from in the future. Yes, it's salty and it's smoky, but not too much of each; this is perfect. I worry that our food heritage will be lost to creeping mediocrity, because we're becoming a nation of the timid, in every facet of our lives. Be bold, as our nation was founded on this virtue, and enjoy this bacon. Do not be surprised if your neighbors come a'knockin', wondering what that wonderful smell is when you're cooking your Broadbent's. Introduce them to these delicious slices of American culinary history and they'll be hooked, too.
